A Particular Life emerges from layers of green—deep forest tones, translucent washes, acid yellow-green, and pale passages of light. Plant-like forms rise through the painting, sometimes clearly defined and sometimes nearly disappearing back into the surrounding field.
The work moves between landscape, garden, and abstraction. Individual stems and leaves become almost calligraphic marks, while the shifting layers of color suggest growth, memory, and the density of living things. The title points toward something specific within that complexity: one life, one presence, existing within a much larger network of relationships.
Each reproduction is printed by me in my studio using archival pigment inks on high-quality fine art canvas, giving the image a rich, painting-like surface and texture. These are open-edition reproductions, not numbered limited editions, and each print is signed by the artist.
