Fine Art Reproduction on Canvas
Image size: 15 × 20 inches
Overall print size: 17 × 22 inches
Frozen River is built around the tension between winter stillness and visual activity. Dark tree trunks rise through a pale field of icy blues, lavenders, and whites, while small passages of orange, pink, yellow, and turquoise move across the surface like fragments of reflected light.
The landscape remains recognizable, but it continually shifts toward abstraction. Trees become lines and structures; snow and ice become fields of color and marks. The painting is less a literal description of a frozen river than an accumulation of looking, memory, movement, and sensation.
Each reproduction is printed by me in my studio using archival pigment inks on high-quality fine art canvas, giving the image a rich, painting-like surface and texture. This is an open-edition reproduction, not a numbered limited edition, and is signed by the artist.
Presentation: Although printed on canvas, these works are intended to be presented more like drawings or works on paper—matted, framed, and placed under glazing rather than stretched over stretcher bars. The white border is designed to remain visible as part of the presentation.
Studio Second — Discounted: This print is being offered at a reduced price because the outer margins were printed slightly unevenly. The image itself is unaffected, and the irregularity should be largely or completely concealed once the work is properly matted and framed. I have several available at this discount.
