Flowers in a Bowl
Fine Art Reproduction on Canvas
Image size: 16 × 21.5 inches
Overall print size: 18 × 23.5 inches
Flowers in a Bowl begins with the familiar language of a floral still life, but the image quickly loosens into something more ambiguous. Pale blossoms, dark stems, and isolated flashes of orange, red, and green move across a field of cool gray-blue and lavender.
The flowers are less described than suggested. Some forms emerge clearly while others dissolve into gesture, fragments, and open space. The painting holds together as a still life while continually slipping toward abstraction, allowing observation, memory, and invention to occupy the same space.
Each reproduction is printed by me in my studio using archival pigment inks on high-quality fine art canvas, giving the image a rich, painting-like surface and texture. These are open-edition reproductions, not numbered limited editions, and each print is signed by the artist.
Presentation: Although printed on canvas, these works are intended to be presented more like drawings or works on paper—matted, framed, and placed under glazing rather than stretched over stretcher bars. The generous white border is intended to remain visible as part of the presentation, giving the image a more intimate and object-like presence.
A Particular Life
Fine Art Reproduction on Canvas
Image size: 18 × 24 inches
Overall print size: 20 × 26 inches
A Particular Life emerges from layers of green—deep forest tones, translucent washes, acid yellow-green, and pale passages of light. Plant-like forms rise through the painting, sometimes clearly defined and sometimes nearly disappearing back into the surrounding field.
The work moves between landscape, garden, and abstraction. Individual stems and leaves become almost calligraphic marks, while the shifting layers of color suggest growth, memory, and the density of living things. The title points toward something specific within that complexity: one life, one presence, existing within a much larger network of relationships.

Early Spring, Lake Superior, 2026
Acrylic on linen, 22 × 28 in.
Cold light, bare trees, water, and exposed Lake Superior granite mingle with the first sharp greens of the season. The landscape is fragmented and reassembled as trunks, stone, horizon, color, and drawn marks shift between observation, memory, and abstraction.
